On our Prices page we have examples of what a typical custom web design would cost. These give you a rough idea on what it would cost you for us to build your website. The actual cost may be higher or lower depending on your exact needs.
For example - If you only need a one or two page personal website and you already have pictures and text to put on the pages, and you know how you want the layout of the website, then the cost will be substantially lower. If you already have a website and need a re-design or need help promoting your website, you have come the right place! We offer search engine optimization and advice about how to get your website to show up for your customers.
On the other hand, if you need a 20 or 30 page website, with a shopping cart, custom web applications to update prices or track inventory, then the cost will be higher.
If you don't yet have a website and are thinking about getting one, here are some things you might want to consider before actually hiring anybody:
- Think about how you want the website to look when it’s finished. Come up with a color scheme that you think would look good. The colors should set off the website and make your product or service you are offering stand out.
- Come up with some text to put on each page. Write it down when you come up with an idea. Depending on how many pages the website will have, you should try to come up with at least one or two paragraphs for each page. If you have an idea, try and create that idea on paper. Basically, if you can make a rough outline on paper of what you want the website to look like, it will save you money in the long run by not having to pay a web designer to do it all.
- Think about a logo you want to use on the website. You might want to use pictures or graphics that describe the products or services you offer. You know your business better than anybody. And you know what types of text and pictures will sell your product the best.
